Igor Golovach (born May 31, 1993 in Chernivtsi, Ukraine) is an Amateur Latin Division Ballroom dancer. Currently training with Michelle Blank, they specialize entirely in the competitive International Latin dance

Igor's dancing career started in his early childhood, when his father, who was also once a dancer, brought him to a dance studio. From his first lesson, it was clear that the boy was gifted in feeling the music and was full of positive energetic emotions. Igor fell in love with the atmosphere of dance right away and felt right at home.
Throughout his entire childhood, Igor gave his all to the dancing world. It was one of the most important and dear thing parts of him. Traveling to different countries throughout Europe, such as Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, Poland, Bulgaria, and Romania, Igor represented his country in the international dancing arena. He was a multiple time champion of Open Championships and Festivals held in Ukraine as well as a multiple-time finalist in WDSF competitions. Even with his results, Igor constantly wanted to improve and always set new goals for himself. As a result, Igor started learning the history of Ballroom Dancing as well as the history of DanceSport.
After finishing high school at the age of seventeen, a tragedy occurred. Igor's father passed away. This stage in Igor's life was not easy for the young talented athlete. Without doubt, his father was sure in the talent of his one and only son. With time, Igor understood that dance was outlet that helped him fill the emptiness that he had felt.
At the age of twenty-one, Igor received an O1 visa (visa for extraordinary talent) and relocated to America to further master the world of Ballroom Dancer. In one dance studio, Igor met with a young and talented ballroom dancer, Michelle Blank. Together they found themselves, as not only a dancing couple, but also partners who were alike in their views and goals. After a period of hard work, they came up with an idea to create an encyclopedia as an information center for all things DanceSport.

Entrepreneurship
Since Igor came to the United States in January, 2015 he was actively learning the differences between European and American DanceSport cultures realizing the need for a community data center to provide the dancers and dance lovers with one stop information hub. Together with his partner Michelle Blank they founded WikiDanceSport.com, a free-access, free-content Internet encyclopedia of DanceSport, known today as WikiDanceSport.com.As a tight group Igor and his dance partner Michelle decided to do even more, and started working on the new venture DanceSport Studio (DSS) to provide invaluable service to the community of dance lovers and professionals to find their own place for communication and social connections.
Igor is currently undergoing professional USISTD training to become a certified instructor (United States Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing).
