Alexey Silde is a former Professional Ballroom Dancer, specializing in the International Style Latin division. A 3-time Russian National Amateur Latin Champion, 2-time WDSF World Amateur Latin Champion, as well as a medalist at all major competitions including the German Open Championships (GOC), International Championships and Blackpool Dance Festival, Alexey is currently a WDSF Licensed Adjudicator and coach of many Russian, European and World Champions.

Overview

Alexey Silde is a former Russian Professional Ballroom Dancer. Together with partner Anna Firstova, the dancing couple has achieved many National and International titles. Alexey and Anna are 3-time Russian National Amateur Latin Champions, WDSF European Amateur Latin Champions, 2-time WDSF World Amateur Latin Champions, WDSF World Games Latin Champions, as well as medalists at all major competitions including the German Open Championships (GOC), International Championships and Blackpool Dance Festival.

In 2011, the couple turned Professional. In this new division, Alexey and Anna became WDSF Professional European Latin Champions and WDSF Professional World Latin Champions.

The 2011 German Open Championships (GOC) turned out to be the couple's last performance as a competitive pair. After competing together for more than 10 years, Alexey Silde and Anna Firstova retired from the competitive DanceSport arena.

World Renowned Adjudicator & Coach

Currently, Alexey is a WDSF "A" Licensed Adjudicator, as well as a "Professional" Licensed.

Silde is the coach of many Russian, European and World Champions including Semen Khrzhanovskiy & Elizaveta Lykhina and Nikita Pavlov & Dariya Palyey.
