Anatoli Gorolevici is a Professional Ballroom Dancer and instructor. He is a former multi-time Moldavian National Champion in the International Standard, 10 Dance and Latin divisions as well as the head coach for the MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) Ballroom Dance Club, the Harvard Ballroom Dance team and the Northeastern University dance team.

Overview

Originally from Moldova, Anatoli Gorolevici started dancing at the age of seven. As a child, he was the Moldavian National Champion in International Standard, 10 Dance and Latin several times.

At the age of 16, Anatoli moved to Italy where he studied Ballroom Dance with the world’s top coaches in Naples, Milano, and Rimini. In 2002 and 2003, Anatoli won the Italian National Championships in the Formation Standard division.

In 2006, Anatoli moved to Boston, Massachusetts (USA) where he is currently teaching and competing in the Professional International Standard division with his partner and wife Irina Gorolevici. Together, they have been finalists in all major competitions in the United States and have had the opportunity to be representatives at World and European Professional Standard Championships.

Anatoli Gorolevici currently coaches the MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) Ballroom Dance Club in Cambridge, MA, as well as the Harvard Ballroom Dance team and the Northeastern University dance team.

Currently, Anatoli is a Professional competitor certified by the Dance Vision International Dance Association (DVIDA) and a certified dance teacher (DVIDA) who continues to study and collaborate with the world's top Ballroom Dance coaches.
