Karita Yli-Piipari is a former professional ballroom dancer, 15 Finnish National Championships titles in International Style Standard (Ballroom), International latin, and 10-dance.

Overview

Karita Yli-Piipari started ballroom dancing at the age of 10 in her native country Finland.

During her career she achieved numerous international and national titles including 15 Finnish National Championships titles in International Style Standard (Ballroom), International latin, and 10-dance in both amateur and professional categories. She is a former World & European Champonships 10 Dance Finalist, International Championships and United Kingdom Ballroom Rising Star Finalist, and Blackpool Dance Festival Semi-Finalist in category International Style Standard (Ballroom).

Karita is teaching dancers around the US. She is a USA Dance member and qualified World DanceSport Federation (WDSF) adjudicator and she has judged numerous WDSF World, Continental, and Grand Slam Championships.

She is located in Athens, GA.
